Aural Thrills

Whether you’re an MJ fan or not, you’ve got to admit that these bluetooth headphones are pretty sick. Designed by Johnny Lighthands, these bad boys are on display in a Nokia store in Helsinki. The zombies are the key to adjusting these headphones – pull them from their waists to make the phones larger, and swivel the earphones by twisting their hips. They’re totally true to the Thriller theme, and just creepy enough to make me not want to put them on my head…

it’s hard to utilize MJ’s brand power (because of his “indiscretions”) but this is a really clever idea that a lot of people will probably get a kick out of.

My favorite thing about these is the headstone for Teddy Duchamp, which was a character from the Stephen King story “The Body”, which was later filmed as the movie “Stand by Me”. Teddy Duchamp’s father held his ear to a hot stove as a child.
