I Can Wearz Cheeseburgers
Posted by admin in Animals, Art & Design, Deliciousness, Har Har, Pop Cult-ure on September 17th, 2009
Though I’m a huge dog lover, I’ve never been a big Chihuahua fan. Something about the way they can shiver even on the hottest day of the year. But this photo by William Hundley makes the breed look a lot more… delicious. Little dogs aren’t Hundley’s only cheeseburger posers, though. Check out his other burgerized objects. Hungry yet?
One Last Pool Party
Living in Montreal, I have become painfully aware that summer in ending. So posting about a waterproof iPod player is kinda tough. But for all you lucky jerks who get a few more warm weekends, maybe this is something you could be interested in. The Waterproof iPod Stereo Case from Frontgate lets you float your music in any body of water (even a hot tub!). You snap your iPod into a tightly sealed compartment, and use the waterproof click wheel to select your beats. Dual full-range neodynium drivers give good sound, while its shatterproof polycarbonate case protects from spills, splashes and any kind of salt water or chlorine corrosion. It even has a fold-out stand so you can prop up the player when you’re on land. At $69, maybe I can still afford a trip down south with it…

Zero Hero

Here’s another cool analog concept that I hope becomes accessible for us vinyl lovers. The Zero.1, from designers Francesco Cugusi and Roberto Strippoli, is a CD player that also plays all your favorite vinyl records. It features programmable memory for vinyl, letting you play tracks from a record with a remote control, like you would with a CD. It distinguishes the gaps between tracks on a record and memorizes them. The Zero.1 also supports MP3s, MP4s and WAV.
