Finger Beat

If you’ve got a sense of rhythm (and an appreciation for a beat), then this is probably an iPhone app you’d be interested in. The website claims that it’s a music app for “everyone,” but I think that its hi-tech features aren’t for the faint of finger.  With a pitch keyboard and editor, step sequencer, multi-touch mixer, pocket sampler and voice recorder, this app is made for anyone thinking about getting into making music. So Grand, Baby

For DJs with a touch of class (and a big budget to blow), Garder Post offers the Baby Grand Master. Its features and specs look like they were written in Danish and the mixer looks like it was pulled from an alien spacecraft.  It has an ultra (ULTRA) white reflective projection surface. Oh, and it’s built into a Baby Grand Piano. Gorgeous and intimidating, I’d be afraid to get my fingers anywhere near it (without scrubbing them with bleach first). The 12-inch subwoofer, hydraulic legs and lid and neon details puts it out of your price range, so you’ll just have to drool over these pics:
