Hump day blues? I for one know I wouldn’t be so glum if I worked in an office like this..

Who doesn’t sing a tune or two when getting soaked? This shower curtain will definitely get you in the musical mood, whether you’re a piano player or not. If only it were made of vinyl…
Put Your Feet Up And Play

I don’t even own a regular ottoman, so Michi Jung’s truffle-inspired Chocolate Music ottoman with built-in sound system totally blows my mind. This home concert system is classically-inspired, chocolate-y and has a delicious speaker wrapped up inside.
This is Jung’s own description of Chocolate Music:
There is a need for a new type environment of social in which the home is central. House concerts are becoming more frequent moments of meeting at home. Music Chocolat fits into this context, combining a classic taste with new hi-tech features so that the furniture itself becomes the protagonist of these moments. The project involves a unique design concept, in which the “sound” becomes part of the link between style and quality and made in Italy style and quality of life.
Adding a new function to that of traditional Pouf is a distinctive feature of the project: the pouf is an audio amplifier for i-pod and MP3 players equipped with an external pocket ad-hoc. A new way to live and share own music at home.

Find a Face

If your imagination makes you find vinyl records in cloud formations and LEGO toys in tile patterns, this rug will keep you seeing things all day long. Artist François Robert sees unreal people too (better than seeing dead people), and pays tribute to all you dreamers with Find A Face. Robert finds mouths, eyebrows and noses in door handles, manhole covers and parking meters in this psychedelic rug, made by FLOR.

Double Duty

I thought Pottery Barn Teen was all about bean bags and pink pin boards, so I was rather intrigued by the Hi-Fi Hi-Light on the PB Teen website. With this retro-chic lamp, you’ll find an audio input and built-in outlet for you to plug in, play and recharge your iPod (or mp3 player). It has a built-in 4″ speaker for decent sound, with vintage-y button and dial controls.
I wouldn’t mind outfitting my desk with one of these babies. Just try to stay away from the PB Teen friendship frames…

Sice of Vinyl

The best place to put a slice of pie? On a few slices of vinyl. This coffee table from bughouse (the same company that made the turntable coffee table) features faux-album imagery on canvas coated with poly resin, with chrome legs. But for $495, you’d think they’d have at least used real album covers…

Hawt Cuppa

Is your cup of Joe worthy of this coffee table? I mean, how gorgeous is this Scratch DJ Coffee Table by Bughouse. Sure, it doesn’t actually play any music, but it makes for a great conversation starter. It’s got aluminum legs and a pine body, and the LP can be replaced if you want to customize this $850 table. Definitely not your average IKEA coffee table…
