Here’s another cool analog concept that I hope becomes accessible for us vinyl lovers. The Zero.1, from designers Francesco Cugusi and Roberto Strippoli, is a CD player that also plays all your favorite vinyl records. It features programmable memory for vinyl, letting you play tracks from a record with a remote control, like you would with a CD. It distinguishes the gaps between tracks on a record and memorizes them. The Zero.1 also supports MP3s, MP4s and WAV.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the Zero.1 is ready for mass consumption! I can’t find any more info besides this concept teaser online, but I’m hoping that we will see it on sale soon enough! Will post when it can be bought (with its probably hefty pricetag attached).

All it needs is a tape player, and this would be the dead-technology version of the Turducken.
