Full disclosure: I have a pair of Timbre earphones, am a big fan of hardwood floors and love forest-filled strolls. So it should come as no surprise that I’m totally smitten by the Nixon headphones and earbuds, which use the warm wooden tones in their designs. I’m particularly fond of the Wire 8mm earbuds, because they’re so darn sleek and relatively cheap — $40 will get you these statement-making grains.

Penguins Take Flight

An obsession with penguins is nothing to be ashamed of. I have to see Happy Feet (thanks to a strange aversion to animated films), but these penguin vids remind me why they’re the top non-flying birds around (minus ostriches of course). First video shows penguins in flight, second video shows an ADD penguin on the basketball court.
